Wood Chipping Across Mpumalanga
On-site wood chipping for branches, garden waste, and tree debris. We chip everything where it falls, leaving mulch behind or removing it entirely. Your choice.
On-Site Wood Chipping, Zero Mess Left
Our chipper processes branches and tree debris directly on your property. Fast, quiet, and clean.
Standalone Service
You do not have to fell a tree to use our chipping service. We chip garden pruning waste, hedge trimmings, and stockpiled branches on request.
Mulch or Remove
Wood chips can be spread as garden mulch, reducing water loss and suppressing weeds, or loaded and removed from your property completely.
Combined with Tree Work
All branch and debris chipping is included when we fell or remove trees. No extra charges for chipping as part of a full tree felling job.
Less Waste, More Value From Your Tree
Instead of loading branches onto a truck and driving them to a dump, we feed them straight into our chipper on site. It is faster, cheaper, and produces a genuinely useful material right where you need it.
Fresh green branches are bulky and heavy. If we were to pile and remove them by hand, it would take far longer and cost more. The chipper reduces a large heap of branches to a fraction of the volume in minutes, meaning less time on site and a cleaner result. The volume reduction is typically 7:1 — a large pile of branches becomes a small, manageable heap of chips.
Fresh wood chips make excellent garden mulch — especially for water-retention in Mpumalanga's dry winter months. Spread 75–100 mm deep around trees and garden beds, they suppress weeds, slow evaporation, and break down slowly into organic matter that improves soil structure. Many clients ask us to leave the chips on the garden beds rather than removing them.
Larger sections of trunk and main branches can be cut to firewood lengths and stacked rather than chipped. We leave them split and stacked neatly so they can dry over the season. Hardwood species like acacia, marula, and leadwood make excellent firewood. Softwood species like pine and bluegum burn faster but are useful for kindling.
Whether you want the chips removed completely or spread on your garden, we do not leave until the site is tidy. Sawdust is raked from lawn areas, twigs and leaf matter are blown or raked clear, and any soil disturbed by the chipper base is levelled. We take pride in leaving your property cleaner than we arrived — that is part of every job, not an optional extra.
